It works great for a group. Something I didnt discover until the last day, if you click on an event it gives you a remember 10 minutes before. If others in your group clicked an event it will show on your things to do.

Worked great for keeping up with the time and scheduled events. Didnt work so great for the extra charge for $5.00 to chat with other cruisers, half the time the msgs wouldnt come thru till days later.
Sounds like a great step forward, but barely available on any ships.
Carnival Conquest isnt supported, so this is useless to me and my friends and family at the moment... Please hurry and get it working on Conquest, about a month and a 1/2 left for me and Im on board Conquest!!!! Also should think about a countdown widget like Ship Mate app.
Please add the Liberty!!!?!?! Sailing on Saturday and Id love to tell everyone how great this app really is!!!
Please add fascination before the 4 of July
Loved that you could "Chat" with your whole group - there were 10 of us on the newest Carnival Vista Ship!! It was well worth the $5.00 for our 10-day cruise to the Mediterranean. You can track your OBC, and all your expenditures and see what is happening every day. Also, you can see all your pictures from Pixil and buy/order them. And lets you know time docked and time you need to be back on. Luv it!!!!!
The app worked mostly as advertised, wifi was not always present and some members of my chat group never received messages (and they are Davy users). One failing is the inability to add open plea outside your linked booking groups without knowing their id. It would be nice to have a name search.
Amazing app!!! Spend $5 to chat with fellow cruisers. It was extremely helpful to know the schedule and to favorite it and be reminded of upcoming events.
Just returned from seven night on Freedom. App was great for keeping up with activities and daily schedules. Deck maps were useful the first day or so until we remembered where everything was located. The account viewer showed charges and credits accurately, but the grand total was never even close to correct - it always included our prepaid shore excursions. Need to have an iPad version. It would really like to see current location and speed information like what is available on the cabin televisions. Also hope the ability to view Pixel photos and order via the app makes its way to all ships by the next time we cruise. That feature would not only add convenience from trying to hunt down our photos, but also cut down on wasted photo paper.
Please add Carnival Valor to this app my cruise is October 13 and would be nice to use this app onboard
Just returned home from a 7 day on the Carnival Pride. App worked great to let you know what was going on around the ship. Decent interface and usability. Great job Carnival!
This was a very important tool on my recent cruise. I was able to know all the events at my fingertip along with a guidance of where to go. There is more than can be incorporated though. Like possibly the menu for each day stuff like that.
I loved the features of the app, the map and the whats going on features were very helpful for planning our day to day adventures. The one problem we did have was the chat feature. We thought it would be a great way to keep in touch with everyone while on board, but some messages were delayed, or never received which caused some confusion when making plans.
Where our room was we could not get access to app!! Depended which level we were on... Getting pics was awesome..and ship map etc so Yes I would do it again
Perfect way to have activities at your fingertips. Great way to have contact with others on ship. Need to advance so that message alerts come through without app being opened.
The App is great for maps of the ship, activities, and account charges. However, you have to PAY $5 for a chat service that is spotty at best. 80% of the time, messages were never received by multiple people, which made it hard to coordinate with our large group. Even person to person chats would fail to come through. Very disappointed, especially for a service that I paid for. Another example of Carnival nickeling and diming passengers.
We went on a great cruise last week and the app made it more convenient. We were traveling with a larger group and the chat part of the app made keeping up with them a little easier. The chat part does cost five dollars for the entire cruise and you do have to keep the app up on your phone to receive messages. Being able to see what the itinerary fir the day on the app was very convenient too.
It is nice that you can check whats going on the cruise and add to favorites to get a reminder. Sometimes the app is slow and crashes. It would be nicer to be able to see the menu from the restaurants so you can plan better in advance.
Didnt have to pay for Internet service to use the app. I did share the Internet service with my family member and only one of us could be logged in at a time which was fine. If I wasnt logged in I could still view the actives and everything else the app had to offer. Easy to see what was being charged to my families accounts as well as what was happening on the ship. The ship map was a nice feature too. Since most of our group purchased the Internet plan we were able to use iMessage to communicate if needed. The Internet went down for a couple of hours but since I had the app on my phone I could at least still see what was going on. Considering we are in the middle of the ocean I think the Internet worked pretty well. Wasnt expecting perfection.
